A little curiosity goes a long way.
I'm studying computer science and mathematics at Cornell. This trail brings together the different parts of my time here: learning, building with others, teaching, and the people along the way.

Building with Hack4Impact.
At Cornell Hack4Impact, I've worked on IMA and CHEM (Odyssey). My work includes a nonprofit endowment management system built with TypeScript and Node.js, Firebase authentication integrated with backend APIs and JWT sessions, and a PostgreSQL database modeled with Prisma. I build alongside a team of developers, turning shared ideas into working software.

Learning goes both ways.
I helped teach CS 1110 at Cornell, mentoring more than 30 students in Python fundamentals, object-oriented programming, data structures, and testing. I also graded assignments and projects for a class of over 600 students, with an emphasis on code quality and style. I've learned just as much from explaining code to others as I have learning it myself.
Course: CS 1110
Focus: Python · Object-oriented programming · Testing

Software Engineering Intern · Summer 2026
A summer at Salesforce.
My summer 2026 software engineering internship at Salesforce.

A new route for the data.
I engineered a schema-translation layer to convert roughly 100–200 production Airflow DAGs from a legacy platform to a new internal system. I also wrote a system design proposal to retire a legacy pipeline processing 250 GB per day, with the aim of reducing latency and long-term maintenance. To evaluate the infrastructure impact, I modeled the compute and storage capacity that could be reclaimed, projecting $5.3 million in hardware savings.
Stack: Python · SQL · Apache Airflow · Snowflake
Contribution: Schema translation · System design · Infrastructure cost modeling
Savings estimate: $5.3M projected hardware savings
Beyond the tower.
A few views from my Salesforce chapter: the tower, a boat tour, and a trip to Yosemite. There was plenty to explore beyond the workday.

A summer at ACES.
I spent summer 2025 at ACES as a software engineering intern.

From PDFs to verified trades.
I built an AI-powered system to verify energy trade confirmations against an internal database, reducing manual review time by 55%. The extraction pipeline used llama.cpp to turn unstructured PDFs into usable data, achieving 95% accuracy across ten data points for a workflow handling roughly 40,000 confirmations a year. I also normalized terminology from more than 50 counterparties and built an evaluation framework to compare models and prompting strategies.
Pipeline: PDF extraction → terminology normalization → database verification
Stack: Python · FastAPI · llama.cpp · PyMuPDF · React · SQL
Evaluation: Compared extraction models including Gemma 3 and Qwen 2.5 VL
A little closer to home.
It’s early mornings with friends, the finish line of graduation, and time on the tennis court. A few moments from home that belong on this trail, too.
